I think Isaiah is a truly a likeness of what is happening in the world today .verse 20.

To Me there is no greater punishment than when God removes His presence from a nation. Could theses things be coming to America, that happen to Israel? Some time in the near future? The shedding of innocent blood - abortion.

It was pointed out by David in Psalms that a lack of knowing about God leads to a lack of knowledge and understanding in general. It is interesting here to see that the Children of Israel have neglected God only to find that their rejection of God has led to a lack of knowledge. This knowledge is now leading to their captivity.
  • James Ndungu for verse 4
God chose Israel to be His ambassador, but they didn 't recognize themselves as chosen generation, to represent God, but they did not,to seek and save, there for the Israelites received the course instead of blessing, the Israelites of today are repeating instead of taking advantage of reading the history, searching the scripture for the truth. May IAM intervene and make us to do what Elijah, John the Baptist did reprove the Church and state. Amen.
