My favorite verse! Isaiah 40:31 tells us how we need to depend on the Lord for our strength, for we can not fly without Him. We are dependent upon the Lord.

Stella-miriam's comment on 2013-01-31 14:41:11:

Dependence upon Yahweh regenerates His people, making them fit for outstanding abilities that stuns the world.

paul's comment on 2013-01-13 13:31:25:

I wish to address myself. As a believer in need of grace as such, verses like this one motivate me not to relent in my pursuit of salvation, because that's what I pray for.

Isaac Ukoh's comment on 2012-11-26 04:39:13:

God has set a time and season for His people. Waiting upon the lord implies accepting God's timing. You don't wait on God to give Him something. We wait to get. Any man who wait shall always get what he want from God. Learn to wait, there shall be no regret.

Mark's comment on 2012-09-20 08:53:20:

It shows the supply & the essence of waiting upon God... It also teaches that there is a strenght in believers that needs to be constantly renewed...thus, having strenght is not the end.

i think this verse shows who we realy are as children of God,that patience is truly virtue.nometter how hard it gets on the way of our faith but we should always for our father. for good things happen to those who wait.

Kim's comment on 2011-04-29 11:35:51:

It is encouraging to those of us who every now and then feel as if we're tired. When we look at the But... we know God is getting ready to turn some things around. It's lets me know all that has been assigned to my hand to do, I can keep running, walking along as I don't quit I will make it.
