People's Bible Notes for Hebrews 3:11

Heb 3:11 So I sware in my wrath. A figure of speech which means that God, indignant at their unbelief and sin, declared they should not enter Canaan. See Nu 14:20-35. They shall not enter into my rest. Canaan, while the Israelites were yet in bondage, was promised as a land of rest. On the weary journey in the wilderness it was still looked to as the rest. To prohibit from entering the rest was then to prohibit from entering Canaan. It is, however, a type of heaven, the land of eternal rest. Hence, the warnings that are pointed out in the next verse.

Verse 1, Paul is calling Jesus an Apostle! Paul was alive when Jesus selected his 12 Apostles but Paul was not one of them. Jesus never mentioned Paul. Paul made religion a profession.
The definition of a profession is a paid occupation or an open but often false declaration or claim. Moses and his laws are not the house that Jesus built. Matthew 23:15

This scripture as many others have remind us that if we walk away from God because of hardship and because of persecution from others it a detrement to ourselves study the word of god for yourself ask him for the understanding because he will give it to you. To stay with god is life to walk away is death. Dont look to God because of blessings but because you love him for what he did for you and you have a chance at eternal life. The things on this earth cannot go to heaven seek kingdom stuff. Seek the fruits of the spirit Galatians 5

Jesus had pointed out what they should do but they wouldn't listen for their on lack of knowledge of believing in Jesus and like some of us we want to do it our way thinking we can.

Jesus was struggling with our unbelief coz we dont allow God to take his place into our life. We are using God for our purpose. We must allow God to use us according to his purpose. Coz everything is possible with God. God must forgive us for our unbelief. He who loves Jesus will keep his commandments. If you want to recieved God's blessing and healing we must be born again in Spirit and obey his words and keep his commandments until rapture. Our Faith only comes by hearing the word of God. Thanks for the Blood of Jesus that shed for us. We are washed and cleansed by our Ungodly things. I will not stop Praising God and thanking him forever for He is the only Jehovah. Amen
  • powerful, if we run well we will get a crown of life ,and we will ask Jesus to help to finish our course like PAUL
