Wesley's Notes for Hebrews 13:4

13:4 Marriage is honourable in, or for all sorts of men, clergy as well as laity: though the Romanists teach otherwise. And the bed undefiled - Consistent with the highest purity; though many spiritual writers, so called, say it is only licensed whoredom. But whoremongers and adulterers God will judge - Though they frequently escape the sentence of men.

Hebrews 13:5 - This is a really good scripture to keep in Mind. We may think hat we are not loving money, but a deeper look might reveal our hearts. Many people work long hours and spend time away from the family, not just for money, but to upkeep an expensive life style. The Bible advocates a simple life, and a simple life equals happiness.

God inhabit the praises of is children. It is necessary to inculcate such act as commended in verse 15 of Heb 13 because God is well pleased when we celebrate He. As saints of the most high we must be contented with what we have, never covet temporary things that will pass away. He promise not to leave you or forsake you. We have a better hope of heavenly Home.
