People's Bible Notes for Hebrews 11:40

Heb 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us. The new and better covenant, the gospel, the realization of the promises made to Abraham. That they without us should not be made perfect. That they and we together might be made complete in the city whose builder and maker is God. The full fruition, the being made complete (perfect) belongs to the heavenly state. All these ancient heroes, who died not having received the promise, need the realization of the promise in Christ to make them perfect; by that promise we also are saved.

I think Heb 11:6 is a vital part of Christian life. All we seek and want to be in life anchors on Faith. Living to fulfill His purpose concerning our life centers on our Faith too. Remember also that ... When a man's way pleases the Lord... and in pleasing the Lord, our Steadfast Faith in GOD is most essential.

This verse shows that we must have faith in order to please God because it says that it is impossible to please God without faith. We must believe not only that he exists, but also that He will reward those who put faith in Him.

FAITH IS A GIFT FROM GOD OUR FAITH COMES ONLY BY HEARING THE WORDS OF GOD WITHOUT HEARING AND OBEYING THE WORDS OF GOD ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM. WE MUST ACCEPT THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD HE WAS SENT DOWN NOT TO CONDEMNED BUT THE WORLD MIGHT BE SAVE. THANKS TO THE BLOOD OF JESUS ALWAYS. BY HIS BLOOD WE ARE PARDONED. I WILL WORSHIP YOU JESUS FOR YOU ARE WORTHY TO BE PRAISE AMEN
  • Daniel
Faith, believing with all we have mind, body and soul anything is possible through the word of God. Christ said having faith a grain of mustard seed, you could command a mountain to move and so it shall be done. Without faith hope is not provided proper justice.

    To Lily,
We don't have to work hard to seek GOD's approval. We must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him. Without faith it's impossible to please him. Obey God and trust in HIS word.
