RNM GEN 1's comment on 12/27/2014, 8:19pm...

If you all are going to post your comments at least state your comments accurately, Gen 1 1 says in the beginning God created the Heaven and Earth. We don 't know when this was because it doesn 't state that. We do know in Verse 2 it says the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep, and the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Verse 3 And God said let there be light, and there was light. verse 4 5 So God called the light day and the darkness night and the evening and morning were the 1ST DAY all that was, created on the first day was the SUN, quit trying to rewrite the Bible It wasn 't until the 4th day that God created the moon and stars. Your friend C.R. agrees with you Judy but that don 't surprise me, really, what 's its going the hurt to be accurate and not misleading, if you really love the Lord. AMEN

Evangelist Chatauna Robinson's comment on 12/27/2014, 8:13am...

Hello Judy You are correct. The God we serve is Omnipotent He is all powerful , Omniscient He knows all things , and Omnipresent He is everywhere. Science is not always correct. When it comes to science verses The Bible and God, we should always stay with God. If science backs up God s word then alright. However, when science is in opposition of God and his word, we are not even supposed to give it second thought, 1 Timothy 6 20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called For years science has stated the Big Bang Theory is how the earth began. Now some scientist is saying it is false the science does not add up. God and his word supersede science.

Hello RNM In my post I did state it is alright to know how old the Earth is, however there has been other conversations and debates on this subject. In the end, knowing how old the earth is does not save or tell a person how to become saved. The most important thing is telling people how to be saved and stay saved. Sometimes the enemy uses conversations such as how old is the earth and how many animals was on the ark to distract us from the prime directive. Knowing how old the earth is will not stop the coming destruction.

Judy's comment about verse 2 on 12/26/2014, 9:22pm...

Genesis 1 1, 2 relates to a time before the six days outlined above. When these days commenced, the sun, moon, and stars were already in existence, their creation being referred to at Genesis 1 1. However, prior to these six days of creative activity the earth proved to be formless and waste and there was darkness upon the surface of the watery deep. Ge 1 2 Apparently, a swaddling band of cloud layers still enveloped the earth, preventing light from reaching its surface.

Judy's comment on 12/26/2014, 9:19pm...

Our unimaginably vast universe gives evidence that God 's power and energy are inexhaustible. Read Isaiah 40 26. Modern science is aware that matter can be changed into energy and energy into matter. Our sun, a star, provides an example of matter being turned into energy. Every second, the sun converts about four million tons of matter into sunlight and other forms of radiant energy. The small fraction of that energy that reaches us is sufficient to sustain life on the earth. Obviously, tremendous power and energy were required to create not just the sun but also all the other billions of stars. God possesses the energy that was needed and much more.

RNM GEN CHP 1-8's comment on 12/26/2014, 3:39pm...

If you read Geneses chp 1 you can plainly see that it is not talking about the 1000 yrs to a day principle, and besides someone 's one question of how long the Earth has been here doesn 't hardly qualify as being obsessed, wouldn 't you agree, and one other tid bit, of information I think would be useful is That no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother 's way. Rom14 13 AMEN

Mike manning's comment on 12/25/2014, 11:56am...

To those obsessed with the time of creation, one man day is one rotation in relation to the sun. Why would any one think God is in humans time. 2 PETER 3 8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. So how long is GOD 's day, a thousand human years? More likely answer is humans just don 't know.

RNM GEN 1-7's comment on 12/24/2014, 11:43pm...

There is nothing wrong with being curious about GOD 'S creation, I 'm sure our Heavenly Father will open our minds to the unanswerable questions of mankind. Keep the faith and remember the true Sabbath the 7th day. AMEN

Evangelist Chatauna Robinson's comment on 12/24/2014, 5:24am...

Hello JESSEE WANYEKI I humbly ask, does it really matter how old the Earth is? Knowing how old the Earth is does not change the fact that now during the Dispensation of Grace, which is the 6th Dispensation that people need to be saved by following Acts 2 38. People have to ask themselves, is knowing how old the Earth is going to help me get saved? Is knowing how old the Earth is going to help me make the rapture? Is knowing how old the Earth is going to stop the tribulation from coming and the destruction of this Heaven and Earth? The answer to all of these questions is no. It 's alright to know how old the earth is, but what does the knowledge accomplish? Our time is not God s time. Therefore, it does not matter how old it is. It will be destroyed.

JESSEE WANYEKI's comment about verse 1 on 12/23/2014, 11:01pm...

How old since then is the earth?

Evangelist Chatauna Robinson's comment on 12/21/2014, 9:22am...

Hello Artwell After you have followed Acts 2 38 you do become lights that cannot be hid, Matthew 5 14 "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid ". Acts 13 47 and Ephesians 5 8.

Evangelist Chatauna Robinson's comment on 12/21/2014, 9:17am...

Hello Thomas Coughran You have to continue to pray for your daughter and hold onto hope that someday, before it is too late, that she will turn to God and get saved. As long as there is breathe in the body, God is still able to get her attention. She has to know that Jesus Christ is alive and well. She has to know that she has to follow Acts 2 38.

Artwell's comment about verse 16 on 12/21/2014, 5:13am...

After being saved, a person will begin to glow like light in darkness. Christians become light to the world after true prayer and sanctity.

RNM GEN CHP1-3's comment on 12/17/2014, 1:48pm...

We can only partially comprehend the notion of God 's existence. To do so, we must use human concepts to speak of God "without beginning or end " "eternal " "infinite, " etc. The Bible says that He has always existed " even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God " Psalm 90 2 . And, "Your throne is established from of old Thou art from everlasting " Psalm 93 2 . Quite simply, God has no beginning and no end. So, where did God come from? He didn 't. He always was.To us, the notion of time is linear. One second follows the next, one minute is after another. We get older, not younger, and we cannot repeat the minutes that have passed us by. We have all seen the time lines on charts early time is on the left and later time is on the right. We see nations, people 's lives, and plans mapped out on straight lines from left to right. We see a beginning and an end. But God is "beyond the chart. " He has no beginning or end. He simply has always been. Also, physics has shown that time is a property that is the result of the existence of matter. Time exists when matter exists. Time has even been called the fourth dimension. But God is not matter. In fact, God created matter. He created the universe. So, time began when God created the universe. Before that, God was simply existing and time had no meaning except conceptually no relation to Him. Therefore, to ask where God came from is to ask a question that cannot really be applied to God in the first place. Because time has no meaning with God in relation to who He is, eternity is also not something that can be absolutely related to God. God is even beyond eternity. AMEN! Eternity is a term that we finite creatures use to express the concept of something that has no end and or no beginning. God has no beginning or end . . . He is outside the realm of time

Evangelist Chatauna Robinson's comment on 12/17/2014, 7:44am...

Hello Jeff Thomas Remembering that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh when you read his declaration in Revelation 1 8 "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending ". This means that he is it. He created everything. Does the pot as the potter who created you? I believe that my existence along with the other creations came by way of God. I do not care where God came from or how he got started the thought that this Divine Being has the power to create life, destroy life, revived life, and dispel any other beliefs when he gets ready automatically lets me know that we serve a mighty God who created everything. Faith is the key to believing that he exist.

Jeff Thomas's comment on 12/16/2014, 9:36pm...

The question that all people have is, if God has always been, then how was he created? I am on a new journey to becoming a christian and have always believed in God but, this question of how he became to be is one that is a great mystery to all.

Evangelist Chatauna Robinson's comment on 12/12/2014, 4:18am...

Hello Everyone Adam was the first man that God made, 1 Corinthians 15 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul the last Adam was made a quickening spirit . The last Adam is Jesus Christ. The name Adam means As a masculine noun, 'adam means "man ", "mankind " usually in a collective context as in humankind. The noun 'adam is also the masculine form of the word adamah which means "ground " or "earth ". It is related to the words adom red , admoni ruddy , and dam blood . Jesus Christ as a man or human he nursed the milk from Mary s breast as God he made the milk that he nursed. Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh.

Hello Thelma Please read my response that I gave to Anonymous on this very subject. It is under this Chapter page 5 dated 10 10 14 time 1 18. It is in three parts. There were no people outside of the Garden of Eden. The first man created was Adam. The first woman created was Eve. She had multiple children. It is not impossible to imagine a woman having more than 50 children. The greatest officially recorded number of children born to one mother is 69, to the wife of Feodor Vassilyev b. 1707 c.1782 , a peasant from Shuya, Russia. In 27 confinements she gave birth to 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets and four sets of quadruplets.

Thelma's comment about verse 27 on 12/09/2014, 5:14am...

REV. HAMILTON PAGAN, M.A.'s comment about verse 5 on 12/08/2014, 10:15am...

Spiritually, there is a messge for us in the creation of day and night.the day shows man there is a new beginning, an new day, a new start, a new arising. the beginning of a new day points toward the beginning of a new life. we are start life all over again we can be born again and be spiritually renewed. we can become a new creature, an new man in Christ. God named the light day, and the darkness He named night. note two facts,1. god , not man named the light and darkness. this very significant. it shows the God is the Lord of both day and night, not man. Light and darkness are both part of God 's creation. both are good both have their purpose and function in God 's creation.

R Daisley's comment about verse 2 on 12/07/2014, 10:24am...

Firstly, in verse 1, God created the heavens and the earth, no questions about that, now in verse 2 we are told that the earth was without form and void. We have to determine what void means and also what without form means. someone else in their comments above referred to the words Tohu and Bohu. Tohu refers to a break down,a mess, in shambles or confused. This is what "without form " implies so in actuality an influence or some sort has taken place. so some action has changed the original intent of what was in verse 1, "Order " It was once orderly but now has become confused. So a sentencing has been passed, the state of things has ben judged. So apparently satans fall may have taken place at this juncture, the earth was also void. Naturally meaning emptiness, waste. In referring to satan, Ezekiel says in chapter 28 15 Thou was perfect in thy ways until iniquity was found in thee. So Ezekiel here was privileged to some information or given a view of what was to be. In verse one he says the word of the Lord came unto me. When we look at Isaiah 34, Isaiah 45 we clearly get the understanding of the break down
