Okay so I have been using the years according to genesis geneologies and found that Noah was alive when Abram was born 193 years after the great flood for at least 57 years. That means Abram possibly met his great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather Noah.

There are great spiritual truths to learn from this chapter : 1.The power of imagination, which speaks of creativity 2. The power of uniting a common agreement and belief. These show the explosive ability of the image of God in man on earth, that God was very concern, so He caused confusion among their communication, which affected their imagination and unity. Mankind was placed to govern the earth Gen 1:26-28 , but sin has corrupted his God given purpose that is why Jesus came to redeem mankind.
  • What does this mean? I want to understand Gods word better.

Genesis Chapter 11 7 uses the word US again for God , let US go down ! , The Messiah and Father are already together here as a unity exactly like they are in chapter 1 and 2 of Genesis.

This has positive lessons and negative lessons all are shown from God who desires even later in New Testament faithful children of God we re called to unite in one language of faith and be one body in Christ.1 Corinthians 1:10 - Colossians 3:13-14 - Ephesians 4:11-13 - Psalm 133:1 Negatively imagination of man without God re to be brought down by Gods weapons he has given his children 2 Corinthians 10:4-6

the tower of babel is the pyramids. in my opinion...from the text it says they began to build a tower that reaches unto heaven....and in verse 8, it says they were scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.....AND THEY LEFT OFF TO BUILD THE CITY. Although God did change their language, and scattered them, they still had the idea......that is why their are pyramids all ver the earth........
