Discussion for Exodus 34

You do realize that if you believe in the divinity of Christ then there is no possible way of him being tempted by anything since he is God.

Bruce your are dead on with your comment. We are created in the image and likeness of God. If we have emotion, He had it first. Likewise Christ while here on earth was in all points tempted like we are. With that in mind we can 't shake our fist at Him and say you don 't know what I 'm going through. Yeah He does, He went through it first.

What makes someone think that jealousy or any other emotion is a human emotion. Did Gods anger not wax hot? We were made in Gods image not the other way around.

Moses received more than the ten commandments from God on Mt. Sinai. He was also given the judgments and the instructions for the priesthood. This was the complete covenant given to the Israelites that was contained in the writing of God on the tablets. Vs. 1 God said he would write the words that were in the first tables on the new tables which Moses was to make see previous chapter .
  • God is describing himself in this verse. These are beautiful qualites of Jehovah God that should draw us closer to Him. He is ready to forgive us if we repent and change our ways. I especially appreciate how God is slow to anger because with all of our mistakes he patiently gives us second chances so that we can have a chance to have a relationship with Him.

Herman Gaston...Hebrews 12 6 8 And he said, Hear now my words If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. 7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. 8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
