Wesley's Notes for Ephesians 6:15

6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel - Let this be always ready to direct and confirm you in every step. This part of the armour, for the feet, is needful, considering what a journey we have to go; what a race to run. Our feet must be so shod, that our footsteps slip not. To order our life and conversation aright, we are prepared by the gospel blessing, the peace and love of God ruling in the heart, #Col 3:14|,15. By this only can we tread the rough ways, surmount our difficulties, and hold out to the end.

People's Bible Notes for Ephesians 6:15

Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Not with shoes, but with the preparation to carry the gospel of peace, to be a messenger of good tidings (Isa 52:7).

V.17 - We need to take the SWORD 'off the wall', out from under the pomegranate tree (Saul) and take it to the red-light district, take it to the mall, take it into the schools, take it on the job. "If God be for us ..............." So maybe they will threaten you - "who can be against us"? But let's do it with love, not condemnation. To do it with love - we need to PRAY for His blessing.

I like this chapter very much because like my Jesus ,I got a pious father and he passed away in his 50.while going through this chapter my eyes become wet because my Lord gave 2 good people to me as my father mother.I love you Jesus. Now my mother is in her 83. I beg you all to pray for us .I know your prayers will make wonders.9847081876.

My favorite part of Ephesians 6 is reading the whole armour of God it speaks to me and it just impacts me cuz I am always prepared for whatever satan throws at me and that goes for many other Christians that decide to read Ephesians and put on the Whole Armour Of God!!!!:)

Romans 13:12,put on the armour of light.verse 14 put on the Lord Jesus Christ. Isaiah 59:16-17, it is YHWH Himself that puts on the armour. As a Pastor I have always taught that Ephesians 6:13 is what Paul states in Romans 13:14, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, in Him we always have victory!

Comment*Our warfare is against the wiles (methods) of the deveil (Rom 13:12,14). We cast off the works of darkness and we put on the armour of light, we put on the Lord Jesus Christ and not walk in flesh to fulfill the lusts of the body
