Eph 5:31 For this cause, etc. This verse is quoted from Ge 2:24. It speaks not only a fact of the marriage state, but also implies that Christ left the Father for the sake of his mystical Bride.

Married for 29 years. My wife has always been afraid to leave her family. As a husband and as a father, my word has always been condemned. I try to avoid an attitude of "see I told you" but after three decades my fears are reality. Problems as parents, problems with finances and problems with physical health continue. Several times I'm asked if I would do it again. I would truly require that we move far away so we can develop our own family! A house divided cannot stand! This verse hits home yo the marriage problems mu husband. N myself r having with his family is there any other verses that closely pertain to this verse
