5:19 Speaking to each other - By the Spirit. In the Psalms - Of David. And hymns - Of praise. And spiritual songs - On any divine subject. By there being no inspired songs, peculiarly adapted to the Christian dispensation, as there were to the Jewish, it is evident that the promise of the Holy Ghost to believers, in the last days, was by his larger effusion to supply the lack of it. Singing with your hearts - As well as your voice. To the Lord - Jesus, who searcheth the heart.

Eph 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms. Under the influence of the Spirit when together you will sing psalms, such as those of the psalmist. And hymns. Songs of praise. And spiritual songs. Songs which express spiritual emotions. We find Christian hymns in the church at a very early period. Singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. While the lips sing, the heart must join in the melody by an uplifting to God. Too much singing in the churches is only of the lips.

When it is about the unbelieving husbands, we are not going to submit our spiritual belief to them. A believing wife will take her place as a spiritual leader in the family. When it comes to submission as wife in practical living, there are many criteria you can submit. But you still have the right to bring out your ideas to your husband because I believe the believing wife has imparted God's wisdom in practical living too. Important thing is you are peacefully going by it.

I want to comment on the submission part of Ephesians. When God told a woman to submit to her husband; he also told the husband to submit to his wife. Most of you unlearned pastors never quote the whole truth concerning \\\"submission\\\". Besides, All husbands aren\\\'t in the Lord: Does that mean submitt to everything your ungodly says? The word submit means to go under, give in willingly, God designed marriage and he designed it where as both parties can enjoy sharing a life of love with one person. so why would God make it uncomfortable for a woman by telling her to submit to the man and he not submit to her? God is not an unfair God. Yes, wives should submit to their husbands in righteousness and the husbands should submit to their wives in righteousness. Let us study to show ourselves approved before God so that we will not be made ashamed when we share the word with others.
