3:20 Now to him - This doxology is admirably adapted to strengthen our faith, that we may not stagger at the great things the apostle has been praying for, as if they were too much for God to give, or for us to expect from him. That is able - Here is a most beautiful gradation. When he has given us exceeding, yea, abundant blessings, still we may ask for more. And he is able to do it. But we may think of more than we have asked. He is able to do this also. Yea, and above all this. Above all we ask - Above all we can think. Nay, exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can either ask or think.

Eph 3:20 Now to him. He has offered a prayer, and closes it with a doxology. According to the power that worketh in us. They knew something of the mighty working of the Spirit, and therefore of the Divine power. But God was able to do for them beyond all that they could conceive.

This portion(Eph.3:20) clearly shows a distinction between man's imagination & God's abilities.Man is limited in expression and imagination but God is not. No wonder He said in 1 Cor.1:25 that man's wisdom is His foolishness. When we can no longer imagine, He starts performing. He is our strength, when we are wick. This, remember that for God to "Do exceeding abundantly above All", absolute Faith and Trust is required.......thus,"According to the POWER that WORKETH in us.Praise God.

Nana Boadi Danso's comment on 2012-09-06 21:37:02:

The scripture portrays our God as unlimited God, God who can do all things and nothing can limit His ability to do whatever He wants to do. He is able and extends it to us by meeting us at the point of our need even beyond our imagination.

When i think about the ableness of my God to do beyond my own limitation,it settles all things to me and to realize that He is no respecter of person what He did for king David,He can do it for me

I give God all glory for He is able to to all things, and much more than I can ever imagine or express. There is nothing that is too hard for Him to do fo me.His power,ie the Holy Spirit of God, dwells in me and He strengthens my innerman so that I do not waver in my faith in Him to establish His word (that I believe in and confess with conviction)in every situation in my life.Praise God!
