Wesley's Notes for Ephesians 3:12

3:12 By whom we have free access - Such as those petitioners have, who are introduced to the royal presence by some distinguished favourite. And boldness - Unrestrained liberty of speech, such as children use in addressing an indulgent father, when, without fear of offending, they disclose all their wants, and make known all their requests.

People's Bible Notes for Ephesians 3:12

Eph 3:12 In whom. In Jesus Christ. We have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. All, both Jew and Gentile alike, can come boldly to God. Without the revelation of Christ we could hardly know of God of love, who loved to have us come to him.

Discussion for Ephesians 3

Like Paul we are in a dispensation/period of Grace (Titus 2: 11-12) where we are granted to receive the Holy Spirit, learn and grow into Godliness (I Timothy 4: 7-9, II Peter 1: 2-4) if we train allowing His power work in us by obedience to His Word, fasting and prayer as we study Bible under guidance of Holy Spirit. Grace is divine power to live Holy being filled with the fullness of God (vs 19)

Yes I used to wonder why God used parables until one day, after I had a Divine experience, I began reading the parables and The Holy Spirit opened my mind to a full understanding of what Jesus was saying. I praise God for that enlightenment into His Scriptures.
