Wesley's Notes for Ecclesiastes 3:9

3:9 What profit - Seeing then all events are out of man's power, and no man can do or enjoy any thing at his pleasure, but only when God pleaseth, as has been shewed in many particulars, and is as true and certain in all others, hence it follows, that all men's labours, without God's blessing, are unprofitable, and utterly insufficient to make them happy.

Discussion for Ecclesiastes 3

God has filled whole space of time and eternity. He is the Master and the King and the Love. He knows how to teach his people during the course of their life on earth. He knows perfect season and the right time for his people. I say not only the earth but whole universe and even heavens are meant for the people of God. Yet, no one is worthy to condemn any individual. Stand on your perfect faith in the word of God until the end.

For God's thought is higher than our thoughts and his ways are higher than our ways neither our ways is his. God has appointed time to heal us and bless us for he is God who knows his time. Only his time will work perfectly . Thank you Jesus for everything. I love you and will trust you forever. Help me to be born again in spirit all the days of my life amen

Yea I agree and it is comforting to know God has ordained the time of every season and purpose. Helps me to look forward with the One who created me and knows me my inner most. My shepherd Jesus You lead me Along the green pastures and You restore my Soul and prepare a table in the presence of my enemies where you build me with faith and your Trust.Through your word. For faith comes by hearing your precious word as faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen.Amen Amen
  • Richard Ankrah for verse 11
It is satifying to know that God has hidden the mystery of how He created all things and continually does HIS things to His glory alone least man may boast of imitating what God has done.At His own time, place, how, when and who He chooses is what man cannot understand it. Esther was a Jew but God changed her status just like Joseph, Jabez, Daniel and all those known in the Bible. Whatever God had done does not make sense to man and so will it be.

..."already has been. nation against nation." ..."that which is to be already has been." Sodom and Gomorrah. "and God will call the Pass to account" He will allow the history to repeat itself.
