Discussion for Ecclesiastes 1

God gave Solomon, the preacher more wisdom than any man before him. He study everything on the earth. He seeked for wisdom. God have him wisdom , knowledge and understanding. He studied the rivers and seas, the sun, people. He recognize that it was nothing new under the sun. What ever is being done now has been done before.
The Old Testament is confirmed in the New.
    JESUS brought grace.

Alie J. Matthew 1:18; "Mary was with child, by the Holy Spirit". God caused her pregnancy; She gave birth to God; came to earth in the flesh.

There is no new thing under
    the sun. What has happened
or occuring in your life has
    occured before. What we
    are seeing today was there
    already. eg. Artificial
    insemination. Joseph did
    not sleep with marry but
    marry got pregnant. eg2.
    elevator: Jacob saw angels
running to and fro in his
    dreams. Women crying for
    children. Hannah did the
    same thing.

This is very very Educative for a devoted child of God who considered
this world we are as vanity...all our race in the world is all but vanity.
  • Geraldine cole
This means there is nothing new under the sun everything that is sun under the sun which mean on the earth everything has happen before and God gave the knowledge for it all
