This chapter emphasizes our covenant with God, to do his commandments which he commanded thru his servant Moses in the days of exile, when he fulfilled his covenant to the children od Abraham,Issac and Jacob, to cause to inherit the land of Israel, whose walled cities were built, as well as dwellings already supplied and ready to live in, with the land tilled and fruitful, with cattle and sheep in the pasture, where no labor was bestowed, but given by His promise to Abraham. But if we do not accept God and these conditions of his commandments, ordinances and statutes, and we hate him by not respecting his will for us, then he will requite us without hesitating, to our face with destruction, misery, confusion, illness, and blight.
