How Daniel prayer was delayed teaches us we should always be pasevere in our prayer. Satan has fallen in heaven and now seeking the downfall of men so that men can blaspheme God in time of delay of what we asked God for. We should keep on knocking and asking till our joy be filled.we need to be patiently wait for the promise of God.

It's the same prince, the prince of Tyre. That ol devil. What's fascinating is that in the spiritual realm, they are plenty busy at all times. It took the angel 3 weeks just to get to him, thrashing through the resistance. No wonder they cheered in heaven which satan was cast out, never to return to heaven. They finally got a break. But then it hits earth wide open like a bolt of lightning. BAM

I do believe that God is all powerful and sufficient and He can do all things. The purpose of delaying Daniel was to prove to Daniel that God is not a Yoo Yoo God that if we push a button he answers and come when we want Him to. It was for Daniel to regain is confidence in God and not to be derailed in his faith and the quest of knowledge from God. The devil always have a hidden agenda. Are we bold enough to put a demand on the sovereign God? Also if God has already heard the prayer and provided the answers He wanted for Daniel to see for himself are you going to contend for the answer or you are just going to let the answer fade away.
  • This verse makes clear, Satan was not also called the "prince of Grecia " at this time, this is referring to Alexander the great, of the Greco-Macedonian Empire, who was about to come on the scene.

As a messenger of God the Angel was sent to answer Daniel 's prayer but even he needed help from Michael THE Arc Angel to complete his mission, because the Prince of Persia Satan was so strong. However, God who is stronger and All powerful will send His Angels messengers as many as are needed to protect and to deliver his children , if we seek Him with a pure heart. Perhaps that verse explains why the answers to our prayers are sometimes hindered, because the adversary Satan is making a case against our prayers being answered. Praise God! He always answers our prayers right on time regardless of all obstacles.
  • I don 't think Christ would need help with anything as God.
