It is very useful because I’ve been trying to forgive my mother but I did not know Jesus Christ my savor, but this passage thought me how to forgive her. Then I call her and guess what, now we have a good relationship.

Full assurance, not understanding all but steadfastness in my faith in Christ I ask Jesus for help, in whatsoever state I am to be content.

Did anyone notice that the verse says 'image' of God? Last time I checked the image of something or someone was not the same as being that thing or someone.
Yesima k. Collosians 1:28's comment on 11/02/2012, 12:08pm...
Now is talking about believe, our behavior is what will be the main body of preach that Paul is talking about and to present every unbeliever perfect in Christ. All this chapter is saying is that maturity in Christ is determined by one’s commitment and determination to rest on the gospel of Christ.
Francis anyanwu's comment on 9/25/2012, 2:07am...
Well as we can see the Father and the Son are one, and Jesus is God according to 2 Corinthians 5:19, God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. The psalmist says in Psalms 110:1 my Lord said to my Lord. Ephesians 4:32, also says Just as God for Christ’s sake. JESUS IS GOD....
Elder Vann's comment on 8/02/2012, 2:43pm...
Isaiah 9:6 Tell us his name shall be called wonderful counsellor,The Mighty God everlasting Father prince of peace.God said in (Isaiah 43:19) Behold I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth shall ye not no it? well I guess that being proven. As far as Christ being a man and God at the same time and not! being able to govern the Universe that's a misconception of the human mind. Jesus said to Nicodemus a man who was confused like many here today StJohn 3:12 If I have told you of earthly things and you believe not how shall you believe if I tell you of heavenly things and no man hath ascended up to heaven but the same that came down from heaven even the Son of Man which IS IN HEAVEN!!hello. The Bible dose not say God the Son because The Godhead is not divide because the Son is only the (Word) which is God's prophetic description of himself which he incarnated into flesh. Not another person!! bur the expressed image of his!! person.Hebrews1:3(John 14:9-11) Jesus did not say he that seen me hath seen God the Son he said hath seen the Father (Colossians 2:9 for in him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily Christ is not a fallen man like us. We can't limit what he can do; because of what we! cant do or don't understand that's why 1Tomothy 3:16 say's its a mystery. Not every one will understand; that's the book that is called the Revelation of Jesus Christ says blessed is him that readeth and understands.(Philippians 2:19)say who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God; But made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a servant. Yes he dose pray to his own spirit Deity!(Ephesians 1:9 says Having made known unto us the Mystery of his will according to the pleasure which he purposed in himself. Hello!!11th verse who worketth all things after the counsel of his own will.(Isaiah 40:10)Behold the Lord God will come with a strong hand and his arm shall rule for him. verse 13 who hath directed the spirit of the Lord; or being his counsellor hath taught him? with whom took he counsel Who instructed him and taught him in the path of Judgment and taught him Knowledge, and taught to him the way of understanding.Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered to me of my Father and no man knoweth the Son but the Father neither knoweth any man the Father save the Son and HE to whom THE SON WILL REVEAL HIM. So there you no nothing of the father but what Jesus has revealed blessed is he that readeth and understands.
Elder Vann's comment about verse 15 on 8/01/2012, 2:57pm...
According to to all these Bible scriptures and the Hebrew prophets there is no Son of GOD who is not also! GOD(Hebrews1:6-13) because if he is not God manifest in the flesh then he's not the son of God either (1Timothy 3:16)Psalms 100:2 says know ye that the Lord he is God" How many Gods do you think there are? To say that Jesus is separate from God contradicts the words of Jesus himself (StJohn10:30) even the Devil knows there's one God and trembles, to believe there's more than one God is to be a heathen(Deuteronomy6:4 (James2:19) (Isaiah 9:6_(40:3..6(44:6..8)(45:20..23)(Psalms110)Revelation 22:3..5 tells us int the end there is no more curse but the throne of God and of the Lamb is in it that concludes the whole prophetic word of redemption, once the son ship is over! Jesus Christ in his eternal glory is the eternal God.

Aaron Khoo's comment about verse 23 on 5/18/2012, 10:33am...
The word "If" is not "Ean" in Greek but "EI" . We are often comfortable with "if" which means a condition that is not yet fulfilled, a hypothetical condtion with the possibility of a future realization. But in this verse the "If" have the idea of "ASSUMING THAT YOU CONTINUE IN THE FAITH, ie CONTINUANCE IN THE GOSPEL AS IT WAS PREACHED BY PAUL WOULD SHOW THAT THE PERSON WAS SAVED AND THEREFORE WOULD BE PRESENTED HOLY WITHOUT BLEMISH AND UNCHANGEABLE BEFORE GOD. It is not the retention of salvation but the possession of salvation shown by their continuance in the gospel.
Esther's comment on 4/27/2012, 12:18am...
I have NEVER read in the Bible the phrase "GOD the son" can you please give any scripture where it says God the son? The answer to that is NO. However it does say son of God. God is a spirit they that worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. God , son, and Holy ghost are one not 3 . Referance jon 3'16, 1John 3'16 even says for GOD laid down his life. Here oh Israel our Lord our God is one.
Anita's comment on 4/13/2012, 11:37am...
Jesus prayed to His Father before the crucifictionto let the cup pass him by...and He said to His Father right before He died "Father, in Your hands I now give up my spirit" Surely He wasn't talking to himself.
S Lawson Sr.'s comment about verse 17 on 4/12/2012, 3:42am...
It means that His Father gave to Him the authority to do what He did. He said the what you see me do or hear me say I all comes from My Father... Jesus never took credit for doing anything. He always gave the credit to His father.
Charles trump's comment on 3/29/2012, 4:57am...
I would like to address these comments by 1st saying I respect yr opinions. When Jesus was a baby who was over the universe? Remember, like anyone else God has attributes. One of his is that he is omni present, he created as spirit and that same spirit wrapped itself in flesh Col 3:16 for great is the mystery of godliness, For without controversy God was manifested in the what? the Flesh! justified in the spirit seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles and recieved into glory who asended? Jesus Christ Right? We just need to take it as its written and believe him for who he is! His name means whatMatt2 God with us right? It didn't say a part of God 1/2 of God. see what I mean? Did not he proclaim in Rev that he is the 1st and last the begin/ending he said he was the almighty! how many all mighties do u need. God bless, chaz from durham nc.

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Period!
Timothy Wayne George's comment on 2/27/2012, 11:48pm...
The mystery of the Gospel that was hid from the ages, Christ in you the hope of glory. Praise God for this is a sure hope that every born again christian has living in him the Spirit of Jesus Christ the hope of glory. David said I will be happy, when I awake in your likeness. This is the blessed hope, that we have in Jesus Christ, that we should be holy, with out spot or wrinkle at his coming. So let the blood of Jesus cleanse you, and make you white as snow. Even so come quickly Lord Jesus Christ.
Ricky's comment about verse 15 on 1/01/2012, 7:04pm...
Have you ever thought that this may mean in one accord. If Jesus is God, then explain Matt 3:17, is he referring to himself? What about John 1:14, John 14:28,1 Corinth 11:3 and of course John 3:16? So tell me if Jesus is God, then when Jesus was a baby, who was over the universe?
Phumulani's comment on 12/07/2011, 2:53am...
Paul is traing to show to us that Jesus is a true God. That why say in the book of Romans 10v9, that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord you will be save. My quetion is, should we contieun pray or call Jehova.

Jesus is God because He is One with His Father.

I completely agree with Kelly!
Mike's comment about verse 13 on 10/29/2011, 3:11pm...
The scripture says that we are delivered from the power of darkness, not darkness itself. As one is able to overcome the power of gravity, yet are we not free from gravity itself. I believe this verse refers to the reign of sin and death (romans 5:21) and the release from the power of sin (romans 6:14).
Pearlie's comment on 10/19/2011, 8:24am...
Ijust love Paul I like how he tell you just what you have to do how he tell the people what he is doing for them and what they have to do.
Elder Vann's comment on 10/13/2011, 6:14pm...
Verse 15 tells us he is the image of the invisible God verse 16 makes clear! What is meant by that, in that it says by (him) were all things created in heaven and Earth by him and for him weather they be thrones dominions or principalities. realize there is a throne in heaven if that dosn't tell us who he is then there's always Hebrews chapter 1 verse:8 Why argue against what it says in the Bible. There is!No scripture in the Bible that says that Jesus is seprate from God. while there are Many prophesies from Old Testament to New that says he is the same as God the who New Testament hope rest upon the Sonship of the Godhead if you understand what heir of all things mean!
Susan Dalton's comment on 9/22/2011, 3:20pm...
I just want to praise the LORD, my Lord, who is LORD GOD of all things. He is the firstborn of every created thing. Who has more rights than He? He has created all things, and (for) He is before all things. He is the firstborn from the dead. He created all things, physical and spiritual. He is LORD of all. He is the first, He is the last; and He will stand in the end with the last. When He creates all things new, we will stand with Him in the new. Praise be to the name of God, the LORD Jesus Christ; my LORD, my Lord, my Savior, my Hope.
