David's comment on 7/13/2015, 9:27pm...

To answer your question Ronald if you look at the end of vs 13 you will see it ends with his dear Son: this continues the rest of the versus in that it now refers to Christ ie in Whom we have redemption, Who is the image, for by him were all things created, these all refer to Christ. Hope that helps David

I have been praying Colossians 1: 9-13 over my husband and children as well as myself for several months now. All I can say is I am in awe! Absolutely amazing results! To God be the glory, great things He hath done! I have now began to include my precious church in this special prayer.

Lilian's comment on 2/16/2015, 11:32pm...

Jesus wants us to be feed with his heavenly manna the word of God. Inviting Jesus to dwell in us and listens to his word and reading his words God will increase our knowledge to understand the scriptures. By obeying his words this is the perfect good works to show Jesus that we love him and will follow him all the days of our lives. Jesus loves us and he wants us to rest everything to him coz he loves us and he always confirm his promises to us. Keep thanking God and praising God for sheding his blood to us.

Dotty Carr's comment about verse 17 on 2/11/2015, 6:30pm...

God the Father gave Jesus the authority to do all that He did and does!

Robert's comment about verse 22 on 2/10/2015, 6:44pm...

The hope of every true believer said in the words of the song. When CHRIST shall come in trumpet sound may I then in him be found dressed in his righteousness alone faultless to stand before his Throne.

Valarie Liburd's comment about verse 10 on 1/18/2015, 5:25am...

Col.1.1. So as to walk worthy of the Lord, equip yourself to please Him in all things. By so doing, all your works shall bear fruit. and you shall flourish and increase in knowledge as to Who God is.

Patrick's comment about verse 11 on 1/17/2015, 11:07am...

there is within us is the mighty glorious power and presence of God to change the world

Lilian's comment on 1/12/2015, 1:37am...

As Jesus himself is the word of God. Jesus will full fill the scriptures by feeding us with his heavenly manna - the word of God. Jesus is faithful to his promises and always show 's his love, mercy and grace all the days of our lives all we need to do is not to stop thanking him and praising him everyday , The Savior of our lives as he had anointed us, Jesus is fighting the battle for us no enemy can touch us.. the battle belongs to Jesus only...God sent his son Jesus to carry all the burdens and paid the price for us because of his love. God 's plan is to give us life, wiping our tears and follow him.

Andrew Berger's comment on 1/01/2015, 11:16pm...

Much of this mistery spoken of in colosians is Christ revealed in the glorified form and His standing upon the earth as one body just as job saw it when he said i know that my redeemer liveth and at the latter day He shall stand upon the earth. Christ body was broken for the fellowship and gathering of the saints unto himself to one body and full stature, having reconciled all things to Himself. The cross is key, so key that it the only way posible to do this. He restores us to His presence only through His precious blood and by grace we will stand. Thank you JESUS

CHAREMON's comment on 12/31/2014, 9:30am...

IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL THESE WORDS ARE WHAT I NEEDED TO HEAR AND UNDERSTAND..GLORY

Ron's comment on 12/25/2014, 8:55am...

Verse 21 22 Oh wretched man that I am while in this flesh, engaged in spiritual warfare, what joy to know that when the battle is over, I will be presented to the Father, holy, unblameable, and unreproveable. The spiritual battle of this sinful flesh and the forces of Satan will end in Victory for all who have received our Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. GLORY

Etienne's comment about verse 15 on 12/24/2014, 3:09pm...

To add to kelly 's statement, read King James Version of John 14 28 and ask yourself, Is Jesus returning to himself? John 14 28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father for my Father is greater than I. Was Jesus displaying a split personality? I think not. He glorified his Father, the Almighty God and Creator of all things.

Kevin's comment on 11/10/2014, 11:26am...

Colossians our eyes are truly a gateway. They must always be on Him. Side tracked... So easy this day and age. Must always be reconciled to Him and looking at things not on this earth but above.

Delightful's comment about verse 27 on 9/16/2014, 4:06pm...

Christ in me the hope of glory because I am on Christ and Christ is in me therefore I have hope in his glory and his glory radiates through me. Amen

Greg's comment about verse 15 on 8/16/2014, 9:11pm...

If you think Jesus isn 't God, you should read Daniel 7 13 14 and you will understand that when He called himself the Son of Man, he was claiming to be the Lord who would rule over all the earth. In Matthew 25 31 46 Jesus taught this same principle 3 days before h was crucified. Jesus was before all things and higher in rank than all things, because He made all things!
