9Surely men of low degree are vanitie, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the ballance, they are altogether lighter then vanitie. 10Trust not in oppression, become not vaine in robberie: if riches increase, set not your heart vpon them. 11God hath spoken once; twice haue I heard this, that power belongeth vnto God. 12Also vnto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercie: for thou renderest to euery man according to his worke.

62:11 Spoken - Frequently, both immediately as at Sinai, and by his holy prophets, from time to time. That - That power is God's prerogative; and consequently all creatures, either against or without him, are poor impotent things.
