15:24 The way - The way a wise man takes to obtain life, is to place his heart, and treasure, and conversation on things above.

Timothy Wayne George's comment on 2013-01-15 07:58:03:

The way of life leads upward to the wise, that he may keep from going downward to Sheol. The Hebrew word for Hell is Sheol, and that place had two compartments. One was Abraham\'s bosom, and the other where the souls of the lost awaited the final judgment. Jesus took Abraham\'s bosom to Heaven, when He lead captivity captive, and gave gifts to men. When the thief said Lord remember me, when you come into your Kingdom, and Jesus told him, this day shall you be with Me in Paradise. We are wise when we turn from our sins, and ask Jesus to come into our heart to save us. Then when we die, we are absent from the body, and present with the Lord. David said I will be satisfied when I awake in your likeness. When we see Jesus we will be like Him, for He will change our vile bodies into His glorified body at His appearing.
