2 Grace be vnto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.
3 I thanke my God vpon euery remembrance of you,
4 Alwayes in euery prayer of mine for you all making request, with ioy
5 For your felowship in the Gospel from the first day vntill now;
8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all, in the bowels of Iesus Christ.
9 And this I pray, that your loue may abound yet more & more in knowledge, and in all iudgment.
13 So that my bonds in Christ, are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places.
15 Some in deed preach Christ, euen of enuie and strife, and some also of good will.
16 The one preach Christ of contention, not syncerely, supposing to adde affliction to my bonds:
17 But the other of loue, knowing that I am set for the defence of the Gospel.
21 For to me to liue is Christ, and to die is gaine.
22 But if I liue in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shal chuse, I wote not.
24 Neuertheles, to abide in the flesh, is more needfull for you.
26 That your reioycing may bee more abundant in Iesus Christ for me, by my comming to you againe.
30 Hauing the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now heare to be in me.

Philippians 1:29 I could see that righteous suffering is a gift from God. And it is somthing we christians should be aware of. The goodness of God is not only seen in good things He bestwoed on us but also in the suffering we ought to go through for Jesus-Christ sake one way or the other.

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
John the Baptist said John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease. Galatians 4:19 tells us until Christ be formed in you. We are becoming more like Jesus Christ everyday.

Just as Christ came and fulfilled his purpose on earth. So is God giving us the assurance that whatever purpose he God has commissioned us to do, that He will help us to finish and fulfil it just as Christ did.

It would seem, according to the Word to God, that although life can become challenging in part having difficulties to face; because God Himself has begun a work in us, it will be performed to the fullest, despite any challenge or difficulty! What shall separate us from the Love of God?

hmm.....what a glorious chapter.
Paul exhibits here so much LOVE for the people that he deeply desired that they grow in knowledge of GOD and be found blameless on the last day. Phill 1:9-10.....he talks about them growing in love that they begin to focus on the important. wow!!! what the light of the word does in us. His unconditional love finds expression in us and we find ourselfs passionate and praying for other believers like Paul did.

Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ Our Lord, be strong in your Faith for I bear witness of Him who Created us. Be Steadfast and know that he is with you always and is there for those you that have Faith in him for he has come in the flesh and the kingdom of Heaven has come nigh unto you. Be joyful and let your hearts be glad that you have Him and may the Love which passes all understanding be with you always. With regard to the first chapter of the Book of by Paul and Timothy, Trust these words for indeed they will set you on the paths righteousness and bring you comfort in the sure knowledge that Christ is with us. These are not Old Words they are as new and relevant today as they were then.

A must read for every sincere Christian passing through tough times, or living in affluence in order to bring out the core of our faith in HIS faithfulness.
Timothy Wayne George's Philippians Chapter 1 comment about verse 6 on 1/19/2013, 5:09pm...
Just went from home going to a service for one of the Church members of my father's Church Mt. Zion Baptist, and this is the completion of this verse, when Jesus calls us home to glory. Jesus prayed that we would be with him in heaven, and at salvation, He justifies us, separates us for His service, then He calls us home to glory. Thank God death is not the end, but a transformation to glory. Praise God when we all get to heaven, what a glorious day that will be.
