I believe (and hope) that this indicates a period of economic stability at the time of a pre-tribulation rapture. An economic collapse will follow quickly. Famines precede the Son of Man arriving in a cloud (Matthew 24:30, Mark 12:26, Luke 21:27) and of course the Battle of Armageddon which precedes the \"Second Coming\" will be a period of worldwide war, chaos, and wrath.
