Discussion for Leviticus 11

Peter's Account in Acts 10:9-16 negates what was written in Leviticus 11. We must be reminded that at this age Jesus didnt come to make correction to the law written in the old testament but not to abolish it of which that which was written by Peter with the help of the Holy Spirit was made known to us today. May the Lord open our eyes of understanding in Jesus name. Amen

Except the ceremonial laws that were pointing to Jesus (col 2:14-17), counsels on clean/unclean foods in Lev 11 are still binding. God will not alter anything that proceeds out of His lips (Psalms 89:34, Heb 13:8).

This chapter is difficult for me to understand. As I read it, I think much of what is sold in the grocery stores and at farmers ' markets is unclean, i.e. rabbit, pig, chicken, shrimp are a few. Amy I wrong about the chicken? Verse 21...Do chickens have feet above their feet?
  • Jason sweiss for verse 7
I used to eat pork until I found out in the King James Bible- that it 's unclean to Eat. So I stopped eating the swine..I feel healthier and I feel good! Amen

"You shall walk in all the way which the LORD Deuterinomy 5:33 "your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you... " Proverbs 7:2 Keep my commandments, and live ... Thus says the Lord thy God.. Remember people that all the commandments of God mention in the Bible are for the Israelites only from the SEED of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and not to any other nations. The Israelites people are described in Deuteronomy 28.

I think that the reason that we have so many illnesses is that we do not eat what then LORD say ' that we should.
