Discussion for Jeremiah 17

Grace Gifty; Read Mark 2:27-28. But first pray about these verses and ask God to open your understanding to them. if it doesn't happen the first time, try again later. Sometimes he wants to see how serious we are. Living for him is a serious business; it's a matter of life and death- eternally on both counts.

Of course it matters. The fourth commandment is the only one where God says "Remember" the Sabbath Day to keep it holy, six days shalt thou do all thy work, but the Seventh Day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. The Sabbath was not made for the Jews, as some people think. The Bible says, "The Sabbath was made for man". Not only that, the Sabbath was made even before there was any Jew.

He is probably right. I am sorry. Jeremiah son of Hilkiah

I believe Jeremiah Hilkiah wrote the book of Jeremiah. At least this is what we've been taught.

It's a true saying, we must trust in the Lord Jesus. And lead not on our own understanding. Trusting God is the only way we can find a true peace of mind. Amen
