Amazingly true.
Niyi Amuda's Isaiah Chapter 26 comment about verse 9 on 3/18/2013, 6:53am...
Isaiah 26:9 shows to the Believer how to pattern his life. What do I mean by that? King David wrote that he desired GOD in the night, how many of us do that? Rather what most Believer desire at night these days is a large foam to sleep all night. True Believers like King David understand that the night is quiet and is a good time to seek the LORD, he (David) also sought the Lord early in the morning, how many Believers today still keep a quiet time with the Sweet Holy Spirit? May God help us. Amen.

One thing I learnt in Isaiah 26:9 was that man needs to seek the face of God perpetually, hearing from God, trusting Him above our wealth and materialism.

God put this scripture in my mind when I was experiencing some really frightening episodes with my heart about twenty years ago. He calmed my mind with this scripture; I woke up reciting it, though I couldn't remember ever reading it. I have found it to be a solid truth in an unstable world. Peace is not the abscence of conflict but God's calm assurance in the middle of life's storms.

I teaches people who are still worshiping the dead/ ancestors to stop slaughtering animals because the lamb of GOD was slaughtered in golgotha. When your grandmother who died years ago come to you and say that she is in cold and needs water, that is not your grandmother but it is a demon in the form of your grandmother.
Carl Daubenspeck's Isaiah Chapter 26 comment about verse 3 on 7/17/2011, 9:27pm...
Isaiah 26:3 is a verse to strengthen the weak in spirit and to provide confidence in God's Word. The Creator God, having created the Universe and all that is in it has given His decree through Isaiah that He will be the strong tower and and necessary refuge for those who contemplate on Him and seek Him always in all things.
