Wesley's Notes for Genesis 6:4

6:4 There were giants, and men of renown - They carried all before them, 1. With their great bulk, as the sons of Anak, #Nu 13:33|, and, 2. With their great name, as the king of Assyria, #Isa 37:11|. Thus armed, they daringly insulted the rights of all their neighbours, and trampled upon all that is just and sacred.

Because of Adam and Eve's disobedience, humanity was punished. Because of Noah's complete obedience, humanity was saved. The consequences of their decisions are playing out even to this day. May this be a lesson to us to listen to God and not to the evil one.

God is disappointed in the creation of man because man does not follow the way in his likeness. God plans to destroy man and spare Noah,s life and his family. Because Noah was perfect in his generation God used him in his plans for the future.

God is Omnipotent and Omniscient, He is everywhere and He knows everything. From the creation of man He has known everything you would do and every sin you would commit and patiently waits for you to accept Him into your life so He doesn't remember your sins anymore. The choice is yours as God never forces Himself on you. Genesis is wonderful.
