Ephesians 6:12 side note reference: Or, wicked spirits. , Or, heauenly.

- Darby Bible
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.
- Douay Rheims Bible
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle. Fights then were a hand to hand grapple. Not against flesh and blood. While flesh and blood may seem to assail us, the real enemies are evil spiritual powers. Against principalities, against powers. These terms designate different rank of evil spirits. These were fallen angels (see Ro 8:38). The same terms are applied to the different ranks of holy angels in Eph 1:21. Against the rulers of the darkness of this world. Satan is described as the ruler of this world (Joh 12:31 14:30 16:11) and the god of this world (2Co 4:4). He uses for his dominion not only evil spirits, but wicked men, and his sway is darkness rather than light. Against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. "Spiritual [hosts] of wickedness" (Revised Version). It is likely that the meaning is the same as in Eph 2:2 The high places, the air, is a dwelling place and medium of these evil influences.
- People's Bible
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
- Webster's Bible
For ours is not a conflict with mere flesh and blood, but with the despotisms, the empires, the forces that control and govern this dark world--the spiritual hosts of evil arrayed against us in the heavenly warfare.
- Weymouth Bible
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
- World English Bible
For whi stryuyng is not to vs ayens fleisch and blood, but ayens princis and potestatis, ayens gouernours of the world of these derknessis, ayens spiritual thingis of wickidnesse, in heuenli thingis.
- Wycliffe Bible
because we have not the wrestling with blood and flesh, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual things of the evil in the heavenly places;

I have an older copy of the new testament in which the cover and a few pages from the front are missing. This passage reads: We wrestle not ONLY with flesh and blood... The ONLY is a striking contrast to all other versions I have seen, and one word with huge implications, like 7 billion now living, not to mention those the memories of flesh and blood since past, that shape our beliefs. I often wonder about the translation, its origin, and which is true. End story remains the same GOD is GOD, I am not and Christ alone has paid the penalty for sin.

High places refers to persons, devices, vehicles, etcetera, who, through pride, vanity and fear, would replace the commandments, the sacrifice of the mass for whoredoms as in drugs, prostitution, porn and adulteries. All the best and in all humility. Peter

Paul is explaining perfectly the New World Order, which makes me wonder if Romans 13 is a mistranslation -deliberate? And in fact there has been no authority as are not in accordance with Gods' laws.

The scripture is talking about powers and dark forces that we cannot see. There is a spiritual fight going on between God and his angels, and Satan and his demons. This is why there is a scripture that says put on the whole armour of God. We have to be equipped with the word and ready to stand.

When we believe in Christ, these beings become our enemies, and they try every device to turn us away from Him and back to sin. This battle is against all who are on the Lord’s side.

if Satan depends on god\'s permition to do things
then he is a foe.is he is a god like he claim,a
real god do not need permition from someone else
to do the things he want to.
