15:28 These necessary things - All of these were necessary for that time. But the first of them was not necessary long; and the direction concerning it was therefore repealed by the same Spirit, as we read in the former Epistle to the Corinthians.

The phrasing \"it seemed ...\" (or \"it is seen\") is not Divinely definitive assurance that God (the Holy Spirit; Holy Ghost) really decided the matter about the part of His (Mosaic) Law being reported on by Luke, and here abandoned by \"and...us\" (Mortal \"elders, apostles and brethren\"; \"the multitude\"; or, \"the whole church\") in their Decree, which is needed to set aside His command to Abraham and his Seed \"in their generations\" (Moses\' testimony in Genesis 17).
