This verse clearly shows that any private interpretation of Scripture is wrong. This then says that the Protestant view of sola scriptura is invalid because there is no one Protestant authority that has the divine right to explain Scripture. If the Protestant view is that Scripture is the divine word of God, then how do they square themselves with this verse 2 Peter 1:20?

with scripture with none of your lawyering.
Don\'t play God, Allow him to play you. God uses
prayer and scripture study and meditation to use
you properly and at the right exact moment.

The moment someone tries to say that they truly believe that this, (whatever scripture they are trying to interpret), is totally out of context with the word of God. The interpretations are from the word of God. The word of God is full proof.
