Discussion for 1 Thessalonians 4

There is NO rapture, period. You will not even find it in scripture. As Paul stated, there is no way to prevent (precede) the dead, because they are with The Lord. All souls return to The Father (Ecc. ch. 12; 2nd Cor. ch. 5) until the great white throne judgment. At the trib. of the antichrist, The Holy Spirit will speak through His election (Rev. ch. 11) then the Real Christ returns: 7th trump.
  • Irene123
For those who say that the rapture will take place at the END of the tribulation , there is one passage of scripture that utterly destroys this concept: 1 Thess. 4:16-17. The detailed insight in the book of Rev. and elsewhere concerning the anti-Christ and his reign, there cannot be any Acts 2:38 saints at the end of the tribulation. (cont.)
  • Irene123
The rapture - 1 Thess 4:16-17; Matt. 20: 40-42; 1 Cor. 15:52; the 2nd coming (1,000 yr. reign) - Matt. 24:30; Rev.1: 17. No one will know the day or hour of the rapture; it'll just happen in the 'twinkling of an eye'. EVERY eye (that is left after the rapture) will see Him coming in clouds for His 1,000 yr. reign: and it will be on THIS present earth: Rev.21:1. is AFTER this earth is gone.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. "This prophecy is sent by commandment of God Almighty. Read and retain for reproof, instruction and your salvation. The following events mark world descent into spiritual damnation, or hell: the Syrian President will visit the United States for what appears to be a diplomacy visit. During the visit, the US will experience large-scale blackouts, particularly in the northeast, coastal and metro areas. Soon after, during the blackouts, the LORD JESUS CHRIST will save the faithful, children, teens, the destitute and others from around the world. Immediately proceeding this event, US coastal cities and military bases, beginning with NY, will fall under nuclear attack from Russia, China and others. Cities will lay desolate with the remaining people devastated and the world in chaos. Anarchy, famine, enslavement and horrible deaths will ensue. Repent and ask JESUS to save you from this hell. Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

David, a vessel is a hollow container used to hold substance. We, as born again, are to be filled with righteousness and honor and know how we are to refrain from all evil. Walk in godliness, shunning all sinfulness by the power in Jesus Christ.
