Anger is usually a result of fear. Saul being afraid of David went about to kill him, for he know that GOD was with David, and not him. 1 Samuel 18 29 And Saul was yet the more afraid of David and Saul became David 's enemy continually.t GOD was with David and had left him.

John harris's comment about verse 14 on 1/20/2014, 12:09pm...

This verse tells me that if Christians follow Davids example of how he behaved by using wisdom in all of his actions and his decisions then we can be bless in the same way as we folliw David's pattern in using wisdom in all of our ways, acts, and deeds. just as God was with David and blessed him, He will bless us also.

(I Samuel Chapter 18 verse 10)What does that mean? And it came to pass on the morrow, that the Evil Spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a Javelin in Saul's hand.
