If words I read or heard embedded in my spirit and change my inner and outer life then it is incorruptible. But if words are in my emotion and mind used for preaching, sharing, praying, worshipping, counseling with no or little change in my life, then it is corruptible. Please judge ourselves.Incorruptible words soften our spirit whereas corruptible words harden spirit. In that case better NOT to read.

Be ye holy for I am holy says the Lord
God takes this passage very seriously that's why He sent His Son to set the example in human flesh and left us the Holy Spirit to protect lead and guide us.
    No excuses. .

Peter is exhorting the believers here to remain faithful, live holy and remember that they are the redeemed in Christ Jesus; by his precious blood and resurrection from the dead, so that when he appears, they will blameless before him .

Today, we are all behaving as those people Peter wrote to. We have become self righteous and doesn't heed to Gods word again, May God have mercy on us and make us holy for He is holy!

Wonderful scripture but don't hear it preached anymore. Makes for weak Christians.
