People's Bible Notes for 1 John 1:3

1Jo 1:3 That ye also may have fellowship. To declare what they had seen and heard was simply to preach the gospel. This knowledge communicated to others brought those who accepted it into a fellowship of knowledge and hope. Those are in fellowship who are partakers of the same faith, hopes, and privileges. With us. All the saints entered into fellowship with the apostles, but the apostles were in fellowship with the Father. This grand fellowship, that of the saints with the Father and the Son, is simply a guarantee that no good thing will be withheld from us; that "all things are ours". There is a fellowship of peace, of concord, of eternal life and glory.

In reading 1 John, Chapter 1 I am so thankful that we have repentence in the
cross of Christ. To be forgiven forever from past, present and especially for future iniquities is the real key to salvation. We do not have to work for it. It's not like a golf club where they select you based on who you know and your wealth. We come as we are. With all the imperfections of man. God Loves us. He forgives

I believe if we have a real fellowship with God the father and Jesus, we would want to live righteous because we want to sin no more. So, our sinfull nature would make us continue to sin but we are forgiven of all past, present and future sins and we just have to have real repentance each time we sin. Our fellowhip with God will makevus hate to sin.

If we are in the light there is peace, truth and love and joy in the light and we have fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ. That is something Iam longing for.
