People's Bible Notes for 1 John 1:3

1Jo 1:3 That ye also may have fellowship. To declare what they had seen and heard was simply to preach the gospel. This knowledge communicated to others brought those who accepted it into a fellowship of knowledge and hope. Those are in fellowship who are partakers of the same faith, hopes, and privileges. With us. All the saints entered into fellowship with the apostles, but the apostles were in fellowship with the Father. This grand fellowship, that of the saints with the Father and the Son, is simply a guarantee that no good thing will be withheld from us; that "all things are ours". There is a fellowship of peace, of concord, of eternal life and glory.

After such a difficult 10 days as a teacher, I came before the LORD in confession of my weakness and found the following: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." There are no words to explain the peace that washed gently over this child of Almighty God!

It says that God sends rain to both the good and bad. How merciful is he!!

1 John 1:5-7 Jesus Christ is the Word of Life from the beginning with God. The Word of Life from the beginning was for reconciliation and re-creation of man, through the Anointed come in flesh by the woman. Fellowship with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ and fellowship with each other is the thing aimed at in our redemption in Christ. Walking in the Light means walking in Truth, in agreement.
