People's Bible Notes for 1 Corinthians 15:27

1Co 15:27 For he put all things under his feet. Quoted from Ps 8:6, a statement that Christ is Lord of all and that God has subjected all to him. He is excepted, which put all things under him. God gave Christ the power, and hence he is excepted. The Father is not subject to the Son.

THIS BIBLE PASSAGE REALLY SPOKE TO MY HEART. ESPECIALLY VERSE 58 WHICH says " THEREFORE MY BELOVED BRETHREN, BE YE STEDFAST, UNMOVABLE, ALWAYS ABOUNDING IN THE WORK OF THE LORD, FOR AS MUCH AS YE KNOW THAT YOUR LABOUR IS NOT IN VAIN IN THE LORD". THAT CHRIST WILL INCREASE OUR FAITH AND THAT BY DOING HIS WILL NOT ONLY BE SAFE, ALSO JOYOUS AND TRIUMPHANT. PRAISE BE TO THE KING OF GLORY AMEN.

That means that we have the victory through conquering

Jesus defeated sin which leads to spiritual and natural death at the cross. Now they do not have dominion over us because I am no longer under the law but under grace
  • Nicholas Palmer
Baptism is by works....undermining the Cross for all works have been nailed to it including the law which gives sin power...faith plus nothing..
