I love that chapter basically because it says that all things are right that the holy spirit gives us n it says together in unison without division and without question we will work together but a part we may be effective at times but nowhere near as effective or impressive as when we r as 1 spirit and as 1 body as one it reflects the belief that you love your neighbor as yourself 1=all:all=1

OPEN YOUR EYES AND LOOK AT THIS YOURSELF ! Oh you who pray in the most sacred gift of speaking in tongues ! What do you think this gift was given to us for. Too put it to work and do what the Word itself tells you to do. This is how Gods people get their spiritual and physical needs met Amen. WAKE UP SAINTS BECAUSE THIS IS IT ! ITS ALL RIGHT THERE AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN ! God bless and be with you.

Leta Davis: The church began on the day of pentecost - Acts 2:4; and that was when Peter gave the people gathered outside Acts 2:38 - and none of the other apostles argued wtih what he said. you need to read the whole book of acts - prayerfully. May god bless you as you do. It's only in the word of God we find his will for us, not in daily devotionals, etc. They are good but God's word is first.

What people do not know that the Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit is the same, when a person gets saved, he receives the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit, the Bible say in Romans 8:9 Now if a man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His, he abides when you for ever, the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is part of the trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit.

Reply: 12:8 tells us "for to one is given "BY" the Spirit". It is made very clear for one to possess any of the gifts must have the inward dwelling of the Holy Spirit and it's enabling power. A person cannot possess any spiritual gifts without the Holy Spirit that only comes by repentance, faith in Jesus Christ, and baptism. The gift(s) are given only by God for mutual benefit of body of Christ.
