People's Bible Notes for 1 Corinthians 1:25

1Co 1:25 The foolishness of God. In one thing that men call foolishness, in Christ Crucified, there is greater wisdom than in all the philosophers, and though it seemed weakness of God to let Christ be crucified, yet the Crucified Savior is mightier than all the strength of men. If folly and weakness be of God, these will be wiser and stronger than men.

So that the world could see that because a man may look weak to the world, doesn't mean that he isn't strong in his faith, so that his people could see that Jesus showed the world that this life was temperily and eternal life, love, happiness was with the father, and that he loved the world enough to die so that we could have a second change to call upon our God for our salivation.. Amen, I love you Jesus

Anthony Kariyuattil's comment on 2015-04-14 10:05:46:

Since I can 't understand the foolishness of God, I don 't know the implication of the statement except that man in his self conceit sees God 's action as foolish. In God 's wisdom I see His love for humanity to the triumph of the cross.
